Course description |
The course starts with an introduction to working with the R system, data import, basic data manipulation, and data visualisation. Depending on the background of the participants, the second part shows how to conduct and interpret linear and generalised linear models, classical tests, permutation tests and analyses of variance in an example-driven way. The course requires no previous experience with R, but participants are expected to have at least basic knowledge of statistics (to the extent of, e.g., an introductory lecture). For all Zurich R Courses participants should bring their own laptops to the course and will be informed by email in advance which packages they need to install. |
